Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and H S Sai Krishna (sole proprietor), Visakhapatnam, India ("Atelo", "we", "us"), for your use of the Atelo app and website. By creating an account or using Atelo, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Questions any time: hello@atelo.space.
1. What Atelo is — and what it isn't
Atelo is a project-management and record-keeping tool for interior projects. It lets designers, site engineers, and clients run a project together — tasks, reports, quotations, selections, approvals — and keeps a record of the decisions made.
2. Who can use Atelo
Atelo is a professional tool for people aged 18 or over. By using it you confirm you're at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement.
3. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code (phone or email) or with Google. Keep your device and sign-in method secure — actions taken through your account are attributed to you.
- Give accurate information (your name is how your decisions are attributed on the record).
- Tell us at hello@atelo.space if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. The record
Atelo's core feature is an append-only decision record. By using the app you understand and agree that:
- Actions you take in a project — pushing tasks, filing reports, approving or rejecting quotations and selections — are logged with your name and a timestamp and are visible to the relevant members of that project.
- The record is designed not to be silently rewritten. Edits and removals are themselves recorded (for example, a removed task remains visible as removed).
- Because other members of a project rely on the record, entries you contributed to shared projects may be retained as part of that project's history even if you later leave or delete your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Roles and visibility
Atelo shows different things to different roles: designers see the full project including pricing; site engineers see assigned tasks without financial information; clients see what the designer shares with them, in curated form.
The designer controls what is shared with the client. Atelo faithfully applies the visibility the designer sets, but the choice of what to show or keep internal — and the honesty and accuracy of quotations, reports, and other content — is the responsibility of the person who creates it, not of Atelo.
6. Your content
- You own the content you create in Atelo — projects, tasks, quotes, photos, notes.
- You give us the limited licence needed to host, store, process, and display that content to the right project members — that's what running the service means. We don't sell your content or use it for advertising.
- You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload (for example, photos you take on site).
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Atelo to break the law or to harm others. In particular, don't:
- Create false or misleading records, or impersonate anyone;
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
- Upload unlawful content or content you have no right to share;
- Probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or other people's data;
- Attempt to access projects or roles you haven't been given.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and remove content that breaks them, with or without notice where reasonably necessary.
8. Availability and changes
Atelo is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves. Where a change materially affects you, we'll aim to communicate it in the app.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Atelo is not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising between users — including disputes about work quality, payments, delays, or the content of quotations and reports;
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or loss of profits, business, or data;
- Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10. Termination
You can stop using Atelo and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how deletion interacts with shared project records). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — including the record provisions, liability limits, and governing law — survive termination.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the effective date, and communicate material changes in the app. Continuing to use Atelo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms or the service, subject to any mandatory law that provides otherwise.
